1990s TV Appearances

In 1996, in what was famously dubbed “Liz Night,” Elizabeth lost her priceless black pearl necklace on TV’s The Nanny, and the hunt continued across three other hit CBS sitcoms in an attempt to find it (it was finally recovered on High Society—phew!). The following year, she celebrated her milestone 65th birthday with a star-studded AIDS fundraiser.
